Come away for the day with the Salt Creek Park District on exciting and entertaining trips. All registrations are based on a first-come, first-served basis.
Trip Policies and Guidelines
• Those participating in the Senior Trips must be able to address their own personal needs. If you require special accommodations, please make the necessary arrangements.
• Once the Park District has made final payments for any trip (transportation, tickets, meals), there will be no refunds issued.
• There are a set of guidelines outlining the Code of Conduct for each trip. These guidelines are posted below. The Code of Conduct was established so everyone can enjoy the activities. Thank you for participating and being respectful of yourself, others in your group & the space around you.

LAKE GENEVA SHOPPING AND ICE CREAM SOCIAL CRUISE
Feel like spending the day in Lake Geneva with some shopping and a boat cruise? Well, let us do the driving and you can spend the morning shopping, have a relaxing lunch and then board the Grand Belle for an ice cream social cruise. You will be served a classic ice cream sundae with your choice of toppings while you learn about Lake Geneva’s opulent estates and fascinating history. Shopping and lunch will be on your own. AUTUMN ON THE RIVER – STARVED ROCK STATE PARK
Tour begins with lunch at 11:00am in the historic dining room at the Lodge, followed by a narrated trolley tour with history and legends of the area. The trolley will then take you to the new river boat, “The Eagle I” where you will see the beautiful fall foliage of the Starved Rock State Park area by water. There are restrooms available throughout the tour and minimal walking is involved. Registration deadline: 10/9

ILLUMINATION: TREE LIGHTS A THE MORTON ARBORETUM
Illumination is an award winning, outdoor, holiday walk at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle. In this experience, we will step into a grove of trees enveloped by thousands of innovative lights, projections and music. Marvel at the hues of electrifying blues, greens, purples and magentas. Along the trail, you will encounter warming fires and live entertainment. Fee includes transportation and admission; dinner is on your own. Registration deadline: 12/4
