Cook County Department of Public Health Order 2021-11

In accordance with the Cook County Department of Public Health Order 2021-11, the Salt Creek Park District will require proof of vaccination to enter our facilities effective Monday, January 3, 2022. This order states all recreation centers in Cook County must require any individual 18 years of age and older to show proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with an approved vaccine in order to participate in fitness or athletic programs. In addition, facilities must require patrons ages 18 and older to show identification (including but not limited to: driver’s license, passport, government ID, work or school ID) with information that corresponds to the vaccination proof.

Additionally, any indoor facility rental where food and/or beverage is served also requires all attendees to be vaccinated. All participants must continue to wear a mask covering their nose and mouth at all times while inside Salt Creek Park District facilities and practice social distancing whenever possible. Proof of vaccination for COVID-19 and photo ID will be checked upon entering for all fitness & athletic participants. Thank you for your cooperation!

Customer Service/HR Assistant: (16-20 flexible hours/week) $17-$19/hour, DOQ
The Customer Service/HR Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the Bi-weekly payroll, maintaining accurate employee benefits and payroll records. This position performs duties of a sensitive and confidential nature.  Assist customers in-person and on the phone by providing friendly support services and customer satisfaction across the organization. Day Camp Counselor: Seasonal (June – August)  $12/hr.
We are looking for responsible and outgoing staff to be part of our summer day camp program.  Counselors will help plan daily activities and supervise children in our camp programs.  If you are interested in becoming a Day Camp Counselor, please submit an application to khartwig@saltcreekpd.com We begin accepting applications March 1.

Day Camp Director Seasonal (June – August) $14/hr.
We are looking for a responsible leader and mentor to be part of our summer day camp program. Special Event Volunteers
The Park District utilizes volunteers in many of our programs and special events.  You can volunteer as an individual or school or youth group.  We will sign off on volunteer hour forms for school as part of our programs and special events.  Please call Kelly Sisco at (847) 259-6890 Ext. 111 to volunteer or email to Ksisco@saltcreekpd.com.
