PARENTS NIGHT OUT @ ROSE PARK
Kids can have fun in a safe, enriching environment while parents go out for the evening. Each month a new theme will determine the activities, crafts, movie and snack. New friends are welcome and encouraged to join in the fun! Optional: Please bring a pillow and blanket for comfortable movie watching.

COMPUTER EXPLORER CLASSES (Co-op)
Join us for one or more of these fun Computer Explorer classes. This is a co-op program with surrounding districts. Let your imagination go wild with these fun themed computer classes. Location for each class: Rolling Meadows Park District, 3705 Pheasant Drive, Rolling Meadows, IL.
Video Game Robotics
Love building with LEGO®? Love video games? It all comes together with TechStars! You and your partner will create video games and then use LEGO® Robotics kits to build a controller for your scratch game. This special course lets you build robots with sensors that communicate and control your games. Build alligators, magic wands and watch as you bring them to life on screen!
Crime Scene Investigation
Become part of the biggest crime scene of the century! Did you commit the crime or is it the friend sitting next to you? Help solve the crime using digital microscopes to examine fingerprints, hair, powder samples and more that may have been left at the crime scene. The last class will end with the class participating a crime scene activity.
Minecraft Madness
Let your imagination transform your Minecraft experience into a
unique world YOU create! Students will discover how to expand
their worlds’ possibilities using popular game-enhancing mods. Build
traps, arrow launchers, faster rail systems and more. This unique
experience also allows you and your friends to work in multiplayer
mode as you mine, craft and build together to survive.
Robot Engineers
This course builds knowledge of simple machines, engineering, programming, and teamwork using the LEGO® WeDo Robotics System, as students use an intuitive, icon-based programming environment, helping to bring their model to life.
